>> all right, roqui. thank you. >>> firefighters are looking into a scary situation at a bart station. they had to rescue a han when he got stuck between a platform and a train. it happened last night at the 24th street station in san francisco. kpix 5's andria borba explains how they got him free. >> reporter: behind the locked gates of the 24th and mission bart station, one of the most unusual rescues in san francisco fire history happened. it was around 6:30 when a man slipped off the platform as the train was approaching. >> at bart there's a small gap about that big so your foot doesn't fall through. he was trapped in that little gap between the platform and the car. >> reporter: that space is only 4 inches wide. battalion chief charles crane says the man was small, likely only weighing 130 pounds. firefighters unhooked train cars and then deployed two airbags capable of moving 20,000 pounds apiece to push the car off the victim. >> any other situation going in any other direction, probably would not

here's roqui. >> thank you. no are heading to the altamont pass and it's early, you won't beat the traffic. we have a miserable commute already this early in the morning along the altamont pass because of some roadwork on westbound 580 and this is from yesterday's pothole that they found out there blocking some lanes and now they are trying to repair it for you but it's taking a while and delaying you heavily so you're at just 10 miles per hour along the way so now north tracy boulevard to the altamont pass along 580 westbound will take up to 46 minutes. they may have it done by 6 a.m. or so but that's not a guarantee so give yourself some extra time to get through the traffic on the altamont pass. it frees up through livermore on the dublin interchange. here's a look at some roadwork in oakland. eastbound 24 that connector ramp to southbound 13 is closed because of a pothole here as well from yesterday too. so if you are getting on to southbound 13 from eastbound 24, there is a four-foot by four-foot pothole bl

here's roqui. >> thank you, brian. like you said, the rain is not coming down too hard right now so it's pretty calm out there. so let's take a look at some closures we're still dealing with from last week's storm in marin. highway 1 between panoramic highway and muir woods road is closed due to last week's storm and we'll see how this new round of rain affects the area. take panoramic highway past the closure to get back on to your route. moving over to the golden gate bridge from marin county into the toll plaza, that will take you about 14 minutes from 580 in san rafael but looking good otherwise just some slick roads around the area. light rain means slick roads. so take it slow. here's a live look at the toll plaza. the bay bridge metering lights are on and that traffic is backing up into the maze now. the maze to downtown will take you about 15 to 20 minutes so not too bad of a commute so far. okay. let's move over to woodside along the peninsula. utility work on highway 84 is still under one-way traffic control
