that's santa rosa police heading up to this investigation.e're northbound on 101 south of the gun river road exit. police say they will be out here for at least another half hour while this investigation continues. chp said this started jew before 2:00 this northerning when a driver called in to say that someone had been hit on the r oad. they came out here thinking this was a pedestrian that had been hit on the freeway. they started treating it as a collision accident and then during their investigation, they say they saw signs of a h omicide. that changed the situation very dramatically. they called the santa rosa police department and are out there heading up this investigation that's turned into a homicide investigation. they are not releasing a lot of information at this point. they will not give us any details. they say they are still trying to chase everything down and put everything together but let me show you the scene out here for those of you who might be t raveling through the area. they have this one lane blocked off. they are g
