we begin with overnight news from santa rosa. police are searching for two men that stormed into an armored car warehouse late last night. allie rasmus tells us how the crime created a terrifying situation for the workers inside. allie. >> reporter: according to san if rosa police the two victims were both prose of the garda armored truck company. we are in santa rosa. this lot is where they store the armored trucks. this started just after 11:00 last night. santa rosa police say they received a 911 call. that call game from one of the company employees that said he and a coworker had been locked inside one of the armored trucks during an attempted robbery. employees say they believe the two suspects the two men that stormed the building appeared to be armed. police are not certain of that. >> we had an employee of an armored car company that called the police indicating they were locked inside. just had been robbed. we arrived. we had to free the employees because the doors were locked. once we freed the employees we found they

anne makovec joins us from santa rosa with the very latest.d morning. >> reporter: if these workers' stories hold water there are two armed robbery suspects at least two armed robbery suspects on the loose this morning. a look at the scene in santa rosa last night just after 10:30. two employees of the company say they were locked inside the warehouse. this is a secure warehouse with a steel door, by two armed robbers. police haven't said what they made off with, an undisclosed amount of cash, after this robbery attempt. police just got this 911 call late last night from these two men who were locked inside the secure area of the garda company warehouse on north point road. the men locked inside said the suspects may have been armed and they are not saying what they were armed with. and police have not released any details, any description of these suspects yet this morning. they are still trying to figure out the story of the men who were locked inside here. but as far as we know, these two armed robbery suspects on the loose this morning. yo

it was about 86 degrees in cloverdale and 81 in santa rosa. you have to get up to clear lake and ukiah to get the mid-nineties. it is a very warm weather. 65 in san francisco and 61 in half moon bay. the clouds never quite cleared the coastline. san jose coming in at 80 degree -- degrees. i want to show you the marine layer. this contributed to the cooling today. you could see it at the coast and at the bay. really 2,000 feet deep overnight and into this morning. and that's what dropped our temperature. that marine layer is breaking up. we are seeing a northerly wind flow that is breaking up the cloud cover. not all areas will start out with the clouds. the numbers are in the 50s and the 60s. look for areas of low clouds overnight and turning sunny tomorrow. even near the coast. much warmer weather is come whg we expect fog free conditions in the bay area. tonight look for some clouds. they are scattered in nature. like i said, they are not going to be very widespread. clouds in over the bay and into the north bay. along the coast, of course.
