>> reporter: we're standing in the rose garden now. like anything i've experienced in my time here of the trump administration where out of nowhere, we received and all-call officver the speakers, saying to sgath egather into th garden. no indication of what we would be attending. i aska an aide and they said jut wait and see. but we are outside the "value office and we see the sign that reads mueller investigation by the numbers, $35 million spent. here comes the president. he will be out momentarily. it reads no collusion and no obstruction. this just a short time after nancy pelosi effectively accused the president of a coverup. here is the president. >> peter, thank you. president trump in the rose garden. >> good morning. so i came here to do a meeting on infrastructure with democrats. not really thinking that they wanted to do infrastructure or anything else other than investigate. and i just saw that nancy pelosi just before our meeting made a statement that we believe that the president of the united states is engaged in a cover
