walks of life are really in this i mean you've got everyone from newt gingrich to courtney love to roseanne barr to thomas friedman. people that i agree with some people that i don't agree with. but there's a huge and wide array of people in this and the question that's asked the center of this is is it was the ninety's the last great decade and and there's a question mark at the end of the subtitle asking the question because because of course it's worth debating there are a lot of great things that happened in the one nine hundred ninety s. and there were a lot of really pretty not so great things that happened in the one nine hundred ninety s. i mean you had an economy that was certainly growing at a robust pace but there was a widening inequality at the economic growth of the era was used to sit excuse to deregulate the economy you had the seeds of or at least the first flashes of warning sign that america's foreign policy in the world was going to result in a blow back in terms of terrorism we have the early signs of that and so i think it's worth looking back now and asking the question wh
