steve is in for rosemary. >> rosemary is not here, i don't know there is a lot of fog.t is clear but the water is really cold, it took a turn. is it a cold foggy summer i had for the coast? i would not mind the fog drifting east towards the central east bay. that is a good question. when the water temps are in the upper 40s and 50s, it does not take much to get the fog. there is that fog. is about to head south, that came in really fast. some of the climate models, june, july, they do have a week low pressure over us in june and july, if these are similar and we get weak systems yes it would translate into a cool, foggy pattern for the summer, that could turn fast. if you're heading north or northeast it doesn't matter. looking over the golden gate, patchy fog. coast will be the 5060s, inland 70s, not as warm as yesterday. may be some patchy fog but it will be nice for the rockies and giants. overall 50s and 60s, this will be like a mini summer pattern. it is warming up well inland. it will still be in the mid-70s, a few upper 70s. tomorrow or fog and temps cool down 60

i'm rosemary church. >> i'm max fosters outside the cathedral. investigations are firmly irnd way as to what caused the horrible fire last night in the cathedral. firefighters to the top level of the bell tower there. extraordinarily the facade the iconic fa said is in place. behind there's a scene of utter devastation. a couple people have been inside since the fire. and describing how the interior is all but destroyed. but the pews still standing interestingly. and the statues still standing. the higher up art facts have been damaged. many saved over night as well. which is extraordinary in itself. we understand that the fire started in the attic. at least the cause of the investigation. the flames spreading quickly through the building wooden infrastructure. that very famous roof. full of wood. called the forest. so much wood was used to build it. the spire in the middle of the church fell late in the day. crashing through the roof and causing so much more damage. pictures from above show how massive the fire was. the roof was destroyed as k s

rosemary orozco is here to talk to us about what's to come. >> we have a warmup coming our way. yesterday several degrees warmer than the day before. today we're going to build on that with some of our areas reaching 90 degrees by the afternoon. whole lot of summer all of the sudden, giving you a look here at sfo. mostly blue skies. few high clouds rolling into the bay area. coming in from the north, winds are generally light. that offshore breeze helping to drive our temperatures up. take a look at some of these numbers. santa rosa at 71. napa reporting 66. mid 60s at the oakland airport. livermore, 64. san jose checking in about 66 as well. how much warmer are we? 5, 10 degrees or so from yesterday morning. up by 9 degrees over santa rosa. up by 7, oakland. 9, san carlos. up by 8 degrees over areas of san jose and more of the same going on for the inner east bay. we will go partly cloudy. mostly clear for today. the high pressure in control of our weather pattern going to strengthen today, bring up our temperatures. we have a bit of an offshore breeze that's developed. here's
