reporting from the digital operations center, i'm rosemary connors, nbc 10 news. >>> an emergency landing at philadelphia international airport, nbc 10's george spencer live at that airport. >> what are you seeing on the ground now? >> we just got here. we can tell you that our other crews have seen the plane involved in all of this being towed away from the runway. but for hundreds of other people right now trying to take off from philadelphia international airport, the damage is already done as this airport operates without its full runway capacity. from sky force 10 a few minutes ago, you could see the immediate aftermath of this emergency landing with passengers. this is actually -- sky force after the scene. we can tell you that united -- 4882 was carrying 75 different people. that's passengers and crew en route from raleigh to newark. it was diverted here to philadelphia international as it landed, we're told engine number two was on fire on that express jet. our chopper did see earlier one person being taken away from the scene on a stretcher, but airport spoke people tell us that

nbc 10's rosemary connors spoke with a mother in trenton. >> how could something like this happen?s. >> well we want to walk you through this. so every morning, the bus picks up 4-year-old tyler boyer at the corner right here to go to school, only yesterday, he never made it. his mother tells me he was left on the locked school bus for six hours by himself. this afternoon, we met tyler in his neighborhood where family and friends are comforting him trying to explain to him that this was not his fault. here's what we know from the trenton public school district and trenton police. his teachers realized something was wrong when she took the preschoolers to the bus and saw that tyler was already on the bus. but he hadn't been in school all morning. tyler's mother melissa tells me her son who is developmentally delayed may have fallen asleep. at one point she told her he got up and was trying to push the doors open but they were locked. the mother is grateful that the teacher sprang into action but angry this happened in the first place. >> our question is the school bus company. reall
