good morning, i'm rosemary connors. let's get right to it. paris is shut down this morning as the country is in the state of emergency. french authorities believe all eight attackers are dead, police are looking for anymore possible accomplices in the area. at least 120 people have died. about 100 of them were killed during shootings and suicide bombings inside a concert hall where an american band was performing. the french president declared state of emergency while the country is now tightening borders with extra security. earlier today, they urged everyone to stay inside for their open safety. we are monitoring developments from europe and washington, george? >> yes, they are starting the day after six hours ahead of us in the face of clearly coordinated attacks at multiple sites in their historic city. on the ground, it was successive explosions and shootings at three different types of locatio locations. look at the cell phone video capturing the panic outside the soccer game in paris where the suicide bombers attacks. the french presid

nbc 10's rosemary connors is in the digital operations center with how two women managed to get right on the sidelines with the heightened security there. rosemary? >> jacqueline, this happened two sundays ago. stevie and her cousin were in court today after they were arrested at the game and spent the night in jail. the two women say they took these photos from the field. stevie tells me she and her cousin were looking for a restroom that didn't have a long line when they found themselves in a tunnel leading out to the field. they spotted some security jackets, put them on, and watched most of the third quarter from a barricaded area on the field. that is until a senior security official they say realized that the two women did not have clearance to be there and turned them over to police. this morning, the two appeared in court, they both will go into a misdemeanor program, that means they have to serve 12 hours of community service in new jersey, plus pay court costs ìáhp &hc% stevi tells me she's surprised she and her cousin were able to get on the field and stay there for a time

. >> nbc 10's rosemary connors is live in the digital operations center, she has pictures from viewers, we do: i've been monitoring the video from erika cabrera. you can see the massive intense fire you see police bringing the suspect into custody. we have blurred the suspect's face. this started with a chase involving the trooper, it initiated with a suspect and the suspects fled. that suspect's car, that white sedan crashed into the back of the school bus. that happened in the eastbound lanes out of view here. then the shooting began. police were able to apprehend from what we know the suspected shooter and two others. there's the video of the bus on fire. no children on board the bus, fortunately. what's interesting about the location of all of this is that this is a very busy part of philadelphia right on the vine straet expressway. construction happening here right now. we know those overpass bridges are under construction for repairs. where this crash happened is just before the broad street exit. that's where hahnemann hospital is. that's where the trooper was taken so all thing

i am rosemary connors. it's 9:00 on this sunday. let's get to our weekend weather with meteorologist, michelle grossman. good morning, michelle. >> good morning. we started out cold, and now not a bad november day. we'll end up above normal for this time of year. we're looking at sunshine today and you need sunglasses and layers as you head out this morning. we are going to see temperatures in the 30s and 40s, and today we are going to end up closer to 59, so we're above average as we head towards the afternoon hours. 40 in pottstown, and 44 in allento allentown. 44 degrees in reading. south and east, looking at the 40s as well. 46 in atlantic city. temperatures starting to respond quickly. now we're in the mid and upper 40s. by this afternoon, we will see temperatures in the 50s by lunchtime and then topping out at 59 degrees before we plummet back in the 40s tonight. warmer on monday, back into the 60s. we could see temperatures near 70 degrees later on in the workweek and we'll talk about that coming up. >>> we had new video comi

i am rosemary connors. it's 9:00 on this sunday. let's get to the weekend weather now with meteorologist, michelle grossman. >> we are going to see the clouds for the first half of the day and then clouds from west to east throughout the day. we have a shower threat lingering, and right now we are looking at clouds in philadelphia and looking at temperatures in the 40s and 50s, so temperatures not bad for the runners this morning, 45 in allentown and 43 in lancaster, and south and east looking at the 50s as well. 48 degrees in dover. we are tracking the chance for showers. looks like the best chance will be along the east coast of new jersey, southern delaware. we could see a shower or two over the next couple of hours in philadelphia. the winds are gusty, up to 15 miles per hour in northeast philadelphia, and gusting closer to 30 miles per hour in philadelphia. it will be blustery as we head throughout the afternoon. feeling more like the mid-40s with the wind in place. a cool and breezy day today and a cold day on monday and then

. >> i'm rosemary connors. jurors in the chaka fattah jr. trial wrapped up their first day of dleliberations and headed home. george spencer has been in the courthouse in philadelphia all day. >> rosemary, the judge just dismissed jurors at 4:45 this afternoon. they had come back into the courtroom shortly before that with their third question of the day but told the judge they wanted to address that question when they return tomorrow morning. now, chaka fattah jr. insisted earlier today, recently as this afternoon, that he remains confident about all of this, saying he defended himself as best he could against the massive resources of the federal government. now before that final question today, the jury had asked two previous questions, the first question just procedural. the second question, though, a series of secret recordings which captured fattah conversing with his former friend for 90 minutes this afternoon, the jury listened to recordings for a second time. you hear fattah talking about high dollar gambling sprees, luxury cars that

good morning, i'm rosemary connors. the former democratic city councilman is about to formally launch his transition in just a few moments. nbc 10's monique braxton is live at andrew jackson elementary school in south philly with more on that. monique? >> reporter: hey, rosemary. a few moments ago i talked to the elections office and they told me kenney garnered 85% of the vote. so i asked how many people actually voted and i was told about 254,000. right now you can see that police and other dignitaries are coming here to the school, awaiting the arrival of mayor-elect jim kenney. he's going to be the 99th mayor of philadelphia. he's launching his transition team in just a couple of minutes. some of the big issues he'll tackle aside from education include no state budget and a new police commissioner. we're not sure if he's making an announcement or announcing people that will be part of his transition team, but no doubt, all eyes will be watching and listening when hebifñj] speaks about 11:15. we'll have it live on n
