let's bring in meteorologist rosemary oroczo. she's tracking the latest on the system. ry. >> yes. wet and windy. about sums it up, andre. a live look here over the golden gate bridge. you can see the flag there blowing in the wind. you can see the roadways are slick. and as andre mentioned, we do expect it to pick up more. so as we get into the afternoon and early evening commute. let's take a look at some of these rainfall amounts. i want to show you this graphic. the last time around, but marin has reported four inches almost a quarter. richmond reporting two inches kentfield, also in the north bay. more than four and a half. ben lowman in the santa cruz mountains. more than two and a half. san francisco more than two and a quarter. you get over towards livermore and san jose. it will continue to accumulate, but obviously not as much as we have seen in this area. and as i showed you in the last half hour, multiple we're talking several dozens of storm reports out there due to wind and flooding and minor slides as we move into the north bay. it is widespread once again

we woke up to this morning rosemary oroczo she's in for steve this morning with a look at the forecast for this monday and the changes in store for later this week. rosemary. >> yes guys, it was a chilly one this morning. frost advisories and freeze warnings. they allowed to expire, but they are likely to be back tomorrow morning before we transition to a wetter pattern by tomorrow night. a beautiful view here over alcatraz. it's a pretty one. the mostly sunny skies will remain in place. high clouds of pushing over the bay area at times today, tomorrow, but an increase in clouds as we get into the second part of your afternoon on tuesday. 41 degrees right now in walnut creek, 39. novato 42, san francisco. the chill is still on, but dramatically better than what we had earlier this morning when we were in the upper 20s, low 30s, still trailing behind in some areas, like fairfax reporting 32 degrees, and for the inner east bay just above freezing in orinda at 34 for the afternoon today, temperatures are going to be just a smidge below average. but with all that sunshine out there, it sho

meteorologist rosemary oroczo watching this and we've talked about what a dry january it was. are on february 1st and february is coming in saying things are going to be a little different now. >> oh for sure. i think a week from now we are going to be speaking a completely different life and singing a different tune. right now we just have rain and we have been dry for weeks and it is easy for our our moisture. of course, i should say our soils to absorb the moisture, but this is one of three storms. we have another one coming in monday. tuesday, we have another one coming in late in the week. and those are also colder storms. so let's enjoy what we have at this moment, giving you a live look here at the soggy one over the bay area. some of the rainfall totals from the last 24 hours or so. areas like concord, livermore, inner east bay, less than a 10th of an inch. then you get over towards oakland, san francisco 3/10 of an inch or so. then you get into the north bay half inch to an inch reported. and that is where we're going to see most of the rain once again for today. and
