chief washington correspondent james rosen keeps an eye on the state department for us james? >> reporter: jon, as we are conditioned to expect with the iran nuclear talks for days and weeks and 16 months now. there are assessments of where we are at. most recently a tweet from the iranian foreign minister just minutes ago said found solutions, ready to start drafting immediately. but the reports from the ground in switzerland, we are only going to see a joint statement issued that affirms the value of the talks to continue to june 30th. in the double over time period, the content and thrust of these negotiations have grown more opaque. network camera crews are not permitted to shoot brief sprays. and officials are light- lipped on what is happening next. earlier the iranian foreign minister said we should see a statement of understanding. but an american educated prior to iranian revolution added that a written statement is not the same as a written agreement. >> a written agreement needs to be drafted by all participants and agreed upon in a multilateral process. and that wo
