jeffrey rosen said his office is looking into the possibility that some of those victims may have been hit by bullets from officers' weapons. >> that's certainly something that we have been looking at in terms of what -- what bullets kid the individuals other than the shooter. >> reporter: rosen says regardless of the results of the investigation, he believes that the gunman is ultimately responsible for the deaths. we just wrapped up a press conference with the gilroy police, and i asked police chief scot smithee if it is possible the victims were hit by police gunfire, and he says that was certainly a big concern for him, but there is nothing in the investigation so far that leads him to believe officers' bullets hit the victims. i also asked the fbi agent in charge if he thought that the gunman may have been targeting minorities. he said so far in this investigation there is no evidence of that. and as raj mentioned, we've also learned that right now police do not believe that there was a second suspect. and the reason they say that is because apparently this gunman had gone shoppin

says the government is now taking children away from the parents on the flimsiest grounds rosen jordan explains. they're american civil liberties union said that it decided to file this latest challenge in federal court because of information that it says the federal government presented to it starting late in 2018 basically that federal agents were once again separating children from their parents at the us mexico border perhaps for the most frivolous of reasons they c.l.u. said in a court complaint filed in california on tuesday that some of these reasons included a parent who did not want to awaken a sick child when she saw her diaper and then authorities taking his child away from him because they claimed he was a bad parent another person lost his child because he had been driving without a valid driver's license and yet other people were accused of being members of gangs even though in most cases they were not the a.c.l.u. said that the federal government is abusing what it says it has to have which is broad discretion to protect children in these circumstances and what the a.c.l
