a proposal for rosie the riveter national historic park. the world's oldest ranger, betty, works.n 2018, personally presented her with the congressional award. now he's sponsoring a bill to ask nearby elementary school to the park. the school was built in 1943 for the children of workers at the nearby shipyards. it was renovated a few years ago and still operates as a school, though it's much smaller than its world war ii heyday. >>> okay. despite repeated complaints of disturbing the peace, neighbors say the city of oakland will not intervene. we tracked the culprit of all that noise. couple of feet high, makes all kinds of noise. very colorful character. folks say this peacock makes piercing shrieks day and night. angry complaints but also some scribbles of support for the bird. >> apparently he's feral. >> we do know the peacock is uncooperative. he never made a peep to our camera despite dedicated stalking by the photographer and the peacock refused to show off that magnificent tail. so he keeping quiet on everything that's going on. >> we do enjoy peacock stories here at nbc.
