but i think ross jennings might have a different answer for us. what's up, ross?> hey. >> so i hear on that flight, you were on your way to your 100th country. what country is that? >> the united states of america. >> hey! >> welcome. so, ross, why did you choose the bagpipes? >> when i was about 14 years old, i was in a friday morning school assembly, and we were getting pretty bored. suddenly from outside the bagpipes started. i sat there thinking, this is awesome. i have to play this instrument because if i play this instrument, it's going to make me the most bad ass person in school. >> you've been to so many countries. was there anything that surprised you when you broke out the pipes? >> yes. my first city i went to, i was stopped by police and questioned by them. by the time they got to my bagpipe bag, they were all like -- after seeing it, they all stopped and they were like. i mean, come on. i put my bagpipes together and started playing, and they lose it. they were like yo. they helped me pack everything up and sent me on my way. that night, it went down
