yeah fascinating. we look forward to your last couple hits as you -- before you go out for your beers tonight, andrew we'll see you in a bit andrew rossing important to shareholder of general mills and blue buffalo, natural pet food company sold itself to general mills. deal price $40 a share, overall $8 billion in cash that general mills will be spending to acquire this company opening up a new area for in terms of product portfolio this will represent that is pet food about 7%. blue buffalo been growing quickly in the natural food category pet food itself about a $30 billion a year business. natural represents roughly 10% of that. and they have been a fast grower in that area deal going to be neutral to fiscal year '19 cash earnings per share, accretive to fiscal '20 cash eps and they're going to be adding to their debt at general mills as well. going to go to 4.2 times levered. they do say they want to take that down to 3.5 times by the end of fiscal year '20 and do want to maintain their investment grade rating. but it is a sign, of course, of companies such as general mills in a very difficult environment seeking as we always tal

ross sorkin our guest this morning is ken langone. let's get a check on the markets right now. the dow is up somewhere around 50 that might have not been -- yeahs. up 52 right now. the s&p up 5 the nasdaq up 23 we had a rally kind of thwarted yesterday by the jay powell testimony which was one of those strange good news/bad news scenarios where he indicated he thought the economy was growing faster than he thought, think that's good, but that could mean a more rapid pace of rate increases. 300 points isn't what it used to be it was up about 750 on friday and monday combined. treasury yields did rise they have been back down to 2.85 actually, they were 2.90 earlier today. 2.88 again on the ten-year which has actually -- as greenspan said, that's the one thing you should have a bug for. >> that changed for a while, but lately that's exactly the most important thing that dictates where equity markets are. >> fed funds >> yeah. on a tick by tick basis. >>> shares of lowe's under pressure the company reported quarterly profit of 74 cents a share that was below what the street was expecting. revenue and comp store sales beating investments. profit m
