we are on route 3 northbound. just got off route 128. we're in the burlington just kind of passing near the burlington mall. we're down to about 25 miles an hour. of course this isn't a new drill for everybody around here but still it's a first test of the new year, the new season. and we're not fairing so well right now. we have accidents all over the place. speeds are reduced. folks are trying to push the limit a little bit here even though it is kind of a vacation week. we do have some volume starting yes, folks are trying to make their way through in a variety of conditions. cindy mentioned it on her maps and pictures with the roadways here kind of matching that. the roads are covered in this snow, slush, rainy, wet mixture that is really making things sloppy. you kind of wish it was all just snow. when you kind of throw in that ice mixture, it really makes things a little more treacherous. we're headed northbound. we're going to see if we can find that tractor trailer accident up there on 495. olessa has more on that. good morning.
