roy rowland. when we were dealing with what , he and i hillarycare were together. i was president of the freshman class. we worked together to put in a network of community health centers way back then. so i have been involved in this every day that i've been in this congress and for 25 years before i got here. so community health centers are very important. and that is a good part of this bill. and i would hope that irrespective of what becomes the eventuality of this piece of legislation or other pieces of legislation, i would hope at some point, in the not-too-distant future, all of us can sit down in a bipartisan way and create a network of community health centers in this country to give 100% coverage, especially in rural communities. when you have people that are having to go 50 miles away to the emergency room because a kid gets his or her figure slim in the door, i really hope we will get to point where we could get that coverage. that to me will be a big contributor to bring in health care costs down because of the laws that someone mentioned earlier that
