msnbc legal correspondent, lisa rubin is following this. lisa, i know you have been looking through this for hours now. there are a couple of thousands of pages here. what have you been seeing that stands out? >> i have been pouring over these. i want to give credit where it's due, to kyle cheney of "politico" who was the first to notice, among these documents, there is a portion of testimony that is credited only to a white house employee. we don't have that person's name. this is testimony that was never made public during the january 6th investigation itself. but when republicans took over the hours, they then released this transcript with some redactions earlier this year. we now have seen a further unredacted version of portions of this transcript, where this white house employee who appears to be a valet is recounting how he told former president trump on january 6th that the rye rioting started at the capitol. former president trump wanted to know if the valet had been successful in taping the speech that he was giving at the ellipse

joining us now, msnbc legal correspondent lisa rubin., we have had it for all of, i think, four minutes. we obviously haven't been able to go through all of it. still, this was what we thought would be sort of a mini trial. here is the evidence we have against donald trump in regards to what happened in 2020. is there anything so far that is jumping out to you now that we didn't know about before today? >> well, katy, one of the things that i would just point out is that we obviously know who the government thinks donald trump's most important coconspirators are. in this indictment, there is a description of six coconspirators, the majority of whom have been definitively identified before. that having been said, one of the things that pops out to me immediately is how many people here are identified just by p numbers, meaning they're not people alleged to be coconspirators, but they are people who are alleged witnesses or participants in the event, and there are so many of them that even on page 13, which is as far as i've gotten, there'

lisa rubin is here to break it down for us. this is a pretty extraordinary ruling.orced? how will ruby freeman and shea moss get control of giuliani's apartment, for example? >> the order requires rudy giuliani to transfer those assets, the ones that you were just talking about, and others, to them as receivers for the property. and i should note, usually it doesn't come to this. usually when somebody has a judgment against them, they try to pay that judgment. and if they can't pay the totality of that judgment, there are steps taken for them to pay it, for example, over time, or a judge intervenes. he tried to declare bankruptcy to evade the judgment and when the judge found that he was essentially abusing the bankruptcy code in order to evade the judgment, he ended up back in a new york federal court where freeman and moss asked for this order transferring rudy's assets to them so that they can begin to liquidate them in satisfaction of that $146 million judgment. >> does this happen immediately or could rudy giuliani appeal? >> he has to do it within seven days.

joining us now from the courthouse in philadelphia, lisa rubin, msnbc legal correspondent. good morning. what exactly is this all about. >> reporter: well, jose, what this is about is the lottery that elon musk's america pac has been running, where if you are a registered voter or become a registered voter in one of seven swing states and go to his pac's website, you can then sign a petition, which makes you eligible for a lottery of sorts where one voter a day wins a million dollars. so far he's given away $12 million including to four pennsylvanians. and that's what prompted philadelphiakraz krasner come h elon musk from doing that. instead of walking away with an injunction this morning, what happened last night is really what has changed everything. elon musk now trying to move this case to federal court and by doing so has effectively paused state court proceedings. i want to give you an opportunity to listen to one of d.a. krasner's lawyers who spoke as he was coming out of court today. >> we are going to handle this case and continue to handle this case on mischief n
