my staff and i were reminded of the rudy ruehl and i don't know if you get that sports analogy w or not but let me just say to you and my colleagues that i s will have something that is called the beatty ruehl where we would like to start with federal organizations like yours instantly say that as you look at these positions you actuallyo identify and at least interviewt one person who is a minority. >> congresswoman, i am very focus on diversity and the federal reserve and it is a key priority. we have made some progress, but we need to do better and i havee created a work stream at the board to think about all of the different ways in which we can promote diversity in the work that we do. at the level of presidential pardons, i would very much like to see, i very much hope that we can see greater diversity in the fomc and in the search process we require the banks to seek public input. we make sure that we at the board and sure there is a broad national search and that every attempt is made to assemble a diversified pool and that qualified candidates are considered and i really do hop
