remiss if i didn't note one person in this room who doesn't expect to be the recognized, but captain ruggiohere. he was my company commander on my first deployment in guantanamo bay. he was there on june 3rd, 2003, when i first swore in as a second lieutenant at princeton university, and he swore me in. and i wanted to make sure he was today with me as a well.
