see the president speaking from the white house but it would be better to see him at the table with ruption. find away to fix the law and delay it until we can get provisions correct so it doesn't harm the economy. >> does this strategy have any hope? >> no it doesn't. i agree with you in terms of obamacare is awful. i don't like obamacare. the republicans have lost two presidential elections and a supreme court decision. drying to relitigate this at this point is really an impossibility. and the worst part is that the optics the public relations are so bad if the shutdown happens, it could actually cost republicans senate seats in 2014 depending on the fall out here. so any real shot of having enough senators to overturn or appeal obamacare in the future could be a jeopardy as well. >> vanessa in cambridge we know that the polls show that the tea party is near record lows, 20% in the last vote. how do you think they are taking this calculation. how does this help them going forward to 2014? >> well i think the important thing to do is recognize the distinction between elite tea party activ
