and someone who knows a lot about this is again, russ feingold.t can we do about this avalanche of money and how much do you think it corrupts? >> i think it clearly corrupts. if you look at 2006, and 2008, mccain feingold was in effect. and that meant you couldn't have politicians raising that kind of money. what the supreme court did in this terrible citizens united decision is say we're going to overturn calls from 1907 to 1997 and let them run ads from their treasury. that means that money can be used immediately for a candidate that you don't believe in. you better believe it's corrupting. we always say there's no such thing as a free lunch. there's also no such thing of a free $10 million contribution. you have corporate democrats voting because of soft money. you saw the consolidation of the media, cutting out the independent voices in radio, and the repeal of glass/segal. this is the result of this kind of a system, and it does corrupt. >> so, you know, on the rest of television, they have the politicians on back and forth, talking about i
