just last week at this time we were watching and saw ryan cody was in tennessee really not far away from where those fires are burning. what is that area like? with dolly parton in pigeon forge which is about 10 miles north of gatlinburg. even before these fire started burning, everyone talking about the drought. historically dry and no substantial rain and the last few months. the smoky mountains are actually of rain forests. they get more than 68 inches of rain annually and that classifies them as a rain forests. phone and typically the rocks in this creek are underwater. you can tell how high the water normally stands. being so close to dollywood and her resort, dolly parton issued this statement saying i have a watching the terrible fires in the great smoky mountains and i am heartbroken. i am praying for all the families affected by the fire it is a blessing my dollywood theme park and so many business owners in pigeon forge have been spared. it is a coincidence that her theme park is in pigeon forge. she grew up in severe county and you will see that tomorrow night and her -- on he
