let's get the forecast from ryan miller. ryan: good evening from the weather center. we have temperatures in the upper 30's and we will not hit below freezing, the good news during the evening and through the overnight. to the northwest, dealing with precipitation, western maryland right now saying m of northern virginia into west virginia. we are dealing with areas that can see freezing rain overnight. the temperatures will be critical. we are holding in the mid and upper 30's. to the west, where the temperatures are lower, those are the areas that are vulnerable that could see freezing rain. we have freezing rain advisories for the areas in pink. this part of maryland under an ice storm warning. 30's for all of us. rain after midnight, staying ,bove freezing by the beltway and lots of rain for the morning commute. we will talk about the arctic last coming our way in a few minutes. than 100 75re million people across the country are facing freezing temperatures tonight. -- more than 175 million people. reports, chicago was taking the brunt of it. weathering the storm
