ryan. it's about the future stars of the party as well, not just paul ryan. you're seeing a lot of focus on the governors here. you saw focus on chris christie last night. scott walker. i think that there is a struggle here where there is really not mitt romney's party yet, anyway. he is not a party man. he is not an establishment man. he doesn't have deep ties to this party and i think that is part of the rest of the story of this convention. i thinka as dan said how he defines himself is going to be incredibly important. we have the sense he is going to try to define himself sort of more emotionally, more as a person, more as a father. this is not something he does naturally. he's not a gifted orator. that is going to be something to watch. i think how excited people get about paul ryan versus mitt romney is going to be something to watch. i think coming out of this convention, whether the party feels unified in a very strong way or whether we're still seeing people more excited about paul ryan than mitt romney, that to me has been the sense the last few da
