s-f-o says, today is its busiest travel day of the holiday season. that's where kron 4's charles clifford is live tonight, checking on the travel crunch... charles? christmas is less than four days away people are trying to get a jump on the weekend. today is the busiest day of the holiday season. 174,100 travelers are expected to travel through sfo today. 6.7 million over the entire holiday season from thanksgiving to new years. that's up 3.6 percent from last year. weather is good no cancelations but they are a few delays due to weather in different locations. i talked to a couple passengers who say they are prepared for the travels. (justine) and in san mateo county. police are investigating a home burglary. it happened friday morning at a house on pullman road in hillsborough. there officers say the suspects made their way into the homes garage... by forcing open a side door. the suspects were scared off by a home burglary alarm....and were seen leaving the area in a white saturn with no rear license plate. they have not been caught. (justine) santa clara police arrested two people on suspicion of firearms and drug possession. here is a look at the several shotguns, some loaded and some unloaded, police netted. police also took, an imitation explosive device, thousands of rounds of ammunition, drug paraphernalia and brass knuckles. jonathan gillean was arrested for gun possession and a suppressor. patricia di-grandi was also arrested. police executed a search warrant at gillean's work in a commercial building on grant street. both suspects were booked into the santa clara county jail.
