and let's bring it out of his honor in s.f. who filed that report on i as we mentioned you met with julian h. in jail he says that this cocaine charge is is trumped up is there evidence to support him. well his suspicion on that account is definitely speculation and he admits that but on the other hand there is not much hard proof of the cocaine charge so the the prosecution's evidence is based on just witness testimony and both of these people are people that knew yulian age and one of whom was already convicted of giving a false statement against you in age another of whom was convicted of selling drugs so there's no cocaine no white powder so to speak no video evidence no hard proof now union h.'s lawyers allege that this was this is kind of thrown out the wall that people would stick for this charge seemingly unrelated to the b.z. affair is actually totally related in the sense that prosecutors want to get him in front of a court now it's interesting too that with a cocaine charge and on an international arrest warrant the

in collaboration with hope s.f.and h.r.c., we purchased 500 [inaudible] this year for youth so that they are able to engage fully in distance learning. we targeted youth who lived in our public housing communities and are outside of the san francisco unified school district system so that we can adequately ensure no youth gets left behind. we work through our community partners, such as the samoan community development centers, c.a.r.e., and the bayview y. linda, next slide, please. according to national youth research [inaudible] high rates of absenteeism are being observed. to address these concerns, we're working with mohcd to provide grants to the sunnydale boys and girls club, and potrero neighborhood health, both of which have an established presence at our site. each will receive $130,000 and both communities will be able to benefit from these services. sunnydale boys and girls club will provide culturally competent tutoring and academic skill building to approximately 160 students weekly. they will serve as

the vast majority of s.f. voters approved, and i am ready to do everything that i can if i'm appointed to bring together the board of supervisors and the mayor's office around implementing a pilot program for prop "k" municipal housing. and i want to make sure that san francisco's munic municipal housing is the best housing we can imagine because i think that is what we should aspire to. given the change in my application seat, i want to highlight some of the work i've done with tenants. i organized with mid-town tenants who were on rent strike. i have volunteered with passing tenant right to council, when we were signature gathering for prop "f," to advocating for it on the ballot. and a lot of that involved meeting with public housing tenants and very clearly hearing about the issues of work orders and the warrant of habit ability not being met adequately. a lot of that was due to the san francisco housing authority being underresourced from the beginning. i think work order requirements for public housing s

the first city test s.f. april 6, 2020. testing front line and healthcare workers to now providing broad access for those in san francisco regardless of symptoms or exposure. and as many as 1,000 per day, 10 of thousands of tests have been administered at this site. testing, of course, invaluable to the city's overall strategy to slowing the spread of the virus. very early on we realized that the only way we would be able to get ahead of the virus, good surveillance data and testing is critical to that. we needed to know the prevalence, needed to know who was getting infected and where people were and this site contributed greatly to the city's knowledge base, and port staff were at the forefront of making sure that the site was able to get up and running and since then, providing ongoing management and support services to the site. this is something that we are extremely proud of. next slide, please. now i want to turn over to emergency shelter. in addition to providing the space for testing port property cwa for shelter,

we had a film series, the s.f. punk film series that i put together.. people were so appreciative that someone was bringing this for them. it is free. everything in the library is free. >> it it is also a film producer who has a film coming out. maybe in 2018 about crime. what is the title of it? >> it is called san francisco first and only rock 'n' roll movie. crime, 1978. [laughter] >> when i first went to the art institute before the adventures were formed in 77, i was going to be a painter. i did not know i would turn into a punk singer. i got back into painting and i mostly do portraiture and figurative painting. one of the things about this job here is i discovered some great resources for images for my painting. i was looking through these mug shot books that we have here that are from the 1920s. i did a whole series of a mug shot paintings from those books. they are in the san francisco history centre's s.f. police department records. there are so many different things that the library provides for san franciscans that i feel like a lot of peop

the first city test s.f. april 6, 2020. testing front line and healthcare workers to now providing broad access for those in san francisco regardless of symptoms or exposure. and as many as 1,000 per day, 10 of thousands of tests have been administered at this site. testing, of course, invaluable to the city's overall strategy to slowing the spread of the virus. very early on we realized that the only way we would be able to get ahead of the virus, good surveillance data and testing is critical to that. we needed to know the prevalence, needed to know who was getting infected and where people were and this site contributed greatly to the city's knowledge base, and port staff were at the forefront of making sure that the site was able to get up and running and since then, providing ongoing management and support services to the site. this is something that we are extremely proud of. next slide, please. now i want to turn over to emergency shelter. in addition to providing the space for testing port property cwa for shelter,

in collaboration with hope s.f. and h.r.c., we purchased 500 [inaudible] this year for youth so that they are able to engage fully in distance learning. we targeted youth who lived in our public housing communities and are outside of the san francisco unified school district system so that we can adequately ensure no youth gets left behind. we work through our community partners, such as the samoan community development centers, c.a.r.e., and the bayview y. linda, next slide, please. according to national youth research [inaudible] high rates of absenteeism are being observed. to address these concerns, we're working with mohcd to provide grants to the sunnydale boys and girls club, and potrero neighborhood health, both of which have an established presence at our site. each will receive $130,000 and both communities will be able to benefit from these services. sunnydale boys and girls club will provide culturally competent tutoring and academic skill building to approximately 160 students weekly. they will serve as

well under way, and soon we will welcome our new director of behavioral services and mental health s.f, dr. hillary coonan. it is a massive, multi-year effort. it encompasses the full spectrum, from preventive care to crisis response, sobering centers, overdose prevention, and expansion of treatment beds, medication and case management. our new office of coordinated care will help ensure that no one, no matter where they fall on that spectrum of need, will fall through the cracks. among the people we serve in this system are those so vulnerable, so gravely disabled that they can no longer care for themselves. for these clients who have reached that point, of meeting a 5150 hold, you have created housing conservatorship. it is an important tool, and just one tool in our tool kit. our goal is to always serve our clients in the least restrictive setting possible. but we also recognize that in some situations, after trying all other options available, conservatorship is the most appropriate tool to use. we are grateful to you, and in particular supervisor mandelman, for your tireless work
