first, with the addition of battery storage, clean power s.f. would optimize the delivery of the solar energy produced by the project. for example, it will be able to store the solar energy produced in the middle of the day, when electricity is abundant on the grid, and discharge that electricity when it is more scares and costly to produce. such as in the early evening when demand on the grid begins to peak. by adding the ability of a battery clean power sf, can also help reduce the grids' rye lie anson fossil fuel to supply electricity demand when, for example, energy from solar and wind may not be available. partly due to the operating flexibility i just described, adding a battery to the project will also provide significant resource adequacy compliance benefits to clean power sf. as a reminder, it's a state requirement that provide electric service to customers including clean power s.f. and our municipal power utility hedge hegi power. the requirement is intended to ensure that there's sufficient electric generation resources available to

my name is christine, and i am a number of the s.f. jail coalition.i just wanted to uplift a couple of things today. they're pretty concerning to me, including, you know, just the fact that cell phone use and more restrictions are even up for a debate. for those of us who have been a part of these conversations and been, you know, in the community, we know that having support systems and families and loved ones are really critical to folks coming home. and any restrictions around communication really undermine that. and that could also impact people's abilities to look for a job and be able to work. similarly, restrictions on movement are, honestly, pretty paternalistic, and kind of extend the incarceration approach. i have to say that these debates don't give me a lot of confidence in the plan. the department is an extension of our en incarceration system. the services mentioned today are really important, and i just urge the committee to using these funds towards a real navigation center where people can come and go freely, have access to services,

where is s.f. public health giving us a blessing that 5g is indeed, safe for consumption in the city of san francisco? i say this with complete baggage because we sat here for four years and we had people testify and put documentation in front of us and telling us it will be harmful. we haven't heard from san francisco public health to tell us whether it's harmed or not. where are we on the health assurance for the public? >> i'll begin before i bail, i will give you a hands you. san francisco is the only city i know of or county in california that refers all of this wireless applications to a department of public health. most jurisdictions don't take extra step of additional review by the department of public health. san francisco has ongoing reports every two years to test the emissions from the facility throughout the city. the department of public health is actually obtained its own meter and done its own independent studies around the city each of those studies that i know show that the emissi
