ginger conejero saab is hearing from experts and meteorologist, kari hall, is tracking the air quality we are experiencing today. kari, how is it looking out there? >> still looks pretty hazardous for those with breathing problems, and some of the particulate matter still unhealthy for the sensitive groups range for san josÉ, san francisco as well as livermore. we are getting another plume of smoke coming down from fires burning in northern california. it's getting mixed in with the marine layer. as we go through the day, that will move inland as we get that westerly wind, and conditions will get worse as we go through the afternoon. we talk about the particulate matter and the smoke, and it's smaller than a piece of hair. when you inhale that, it could be very bad for your health. we take a look at how small that particulate matter is, basically it's a measure of how many particles per sample they get, and that gives us an idea of how dangerous that is and how much smoke is in the air. it's registering unhealthy in san francisco. that's where ginger conejero saab is. >> reporter: it's
