sabina kuriakose joins us live with the latest on the investigation, hi, sabina. >> reporter: hi, lauren, no children tie say this is every parent's worse nightmare. this child was snatched feet from her own stoop. so neighbors of course want answers, as police now led on that they may have some new leads. so about 200 people came to john dickinson high school last night for an update on this case. new castle county police say they've been working around the clock to find this man who snatched a four year old off the street in broad daylight last thursday, then sexually assaulted her before dumping her in nearby car half clothed. police were telling the worried crowd last night they may have new clues, including surveillance video may have picked up parts of the attack. but their technicians are still ring viewing all of that video, will take some time, and police remain tight-lipped on the rest of the investigation. and at the same time, police are also searching for a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted two adult women recently, it is all has neighbors worried as you can imagine.

fox 29's sabina kuriakose is live at police headquarters with the story. od morning, sabina. >> reporter: good morning, bill. what a terrible crime to happen in the early morning hours of easter sunday. this was a 24-year-old woman she was shot to death and her killer is still out there. let's go to video that we got for from you the scene. it happened just before 1:30 this morning along the 3200 block of f street in kensington. now officers responding to reports of a shooting found a young woman lying in a pool of her own blood on the side of the street, and nearby the shooter had apparently dropped his weapon, a gun, found in three parts at the scene. now, officers rushed the woman into the back of a cop cruiser. they rushed her to temple university hospital. she had one gunshot to the chest and arrived in critical condition. doctors worked to save her, but sadly she died within the hour. now, back here live, homicide investigators are now taken over this case. they say they are trying to find this woman's family to notify them. surely going to be very ve

sabina kuriakose joining near the scene with the latest on this awful investigation. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. lauren, we do know that this predator, this man who was bold enough to snatch a four-year-old child off of the street in broad daylight with others around, he is still on the streets this morning. two days after all of this happened. let's go to video. that we gathered now, parents in this area, so concerned with police warning people to keep an eye on their children, so make no mistake, this man is a threat to public safety. now, all of this happened on thursday afternoon, police say the four-year-old child was playing with neighbors and friends in the community of plum run, when witnesses say a white or hispanic man in a dark colored sedan drove up. he told the girl he had something for her mother and when she extended her hand to receive it, that's when witnesses say the man snatched her, forced her into his vehicle, and took off, even as other children ran after the car. two hours later, the small child was found in a nearby park, partially

sabina kuriakose joins us live from the scene. sabina? >> reporter: iain, homicide detectives had been back out canvassing the neighborhood talking to eyewitnesses trying to figure out exactly what happened. now, we're told that the driver, the victim here was sitting at this traffic light along somerdale avenue when somebody pulled up alongside him, rolled down the window and opened fire. that suspect took off down the boulevard. but the victim crossed six lanes of traffic. then ended up crashing into the fence on the other side. let's go to video that we got for you at the scene just after all of this happened around 6:00 this morning. we're told the victim was a 39-year-old man. he was hit by gunshots several times in his head. and his neck. medics and police found him at the scene, they pronounced him dead a short time later. police have no motive and no suspects, in this sunday morning murder, we spoke with an eyewitness who gave us his account of what he saw and heard. he did not want to be identified but he described to us what hap
