i knew going into the trial that tracy martin and sabrina fulton, trayvon martin's parents, they told me they were not going to really make comments during the trial about what was going on. we sat down and had an extensive interview before the trial began for about an hour. i asked what if there is an acquit tal because they invested so much in expecting something would happen. they staid they recognize there could be an acquittal and that it would be in god's hands when it actually went to the point if there was an acquittal and they would accept that. sabrina fulton told me that she found it hard to believe with what she understood of the evidence that there could be an acquittal but by the same token she said that what she wanted all along was for the system to treat her son the way she believes anybody would be treated and that included a thorough investigation and arrest an actual charging document which was second-degree murder and they add a charge of manslaughter. and a trial. and so she said if we get that, if we get all those things in the system, we get what we were asking
