that's when an all out search began here in south sacramento that involved a helicopter, sacramento county sheriff department surrounding the neighborhood looking for the two men that ran out the back of this house. one man is still outstanding this morning. they still continue to search for him. another man ended up in a house about a block away. the homeowners heard a noise, one of the girl's in the house got up to use the restroom when the mother came out and found the suspect standing right in the hallway. now, the search continues out here for that second suspect this morning. they have not been able to find that person. they have called off the official search, the perimeter if you will, but continue to drive around in police cars should that person pop out of the bushes. in the meantime, that first suspect has been taken down to the jail. and they are still trying to determine whether or not that suspect was directly involved in that shooting yesterday or not. that shooting by the way left the mother of a 2-year-old son dead. live in sacramento, back to you. >>> thank you, bryan for

we will miss him here, but sacramento will benefit. we do need that talent in sacramento. this can go from being a great initiative in san francisco to being a great initiative for the state. as the mayor pointed out, we were awarded this $37 million program from the stimulus grant with the government. we had to choose nine cities in the nation, and san francisco was on the list. in fact, it is the place to start. we are happy about that, but we also expect leaders like gavin to take this further. we also want to thank priority parking. they have really led the effort. we did a similar event in sacramento. they have taken the lead, they have invested in this. aaron has been a wonderful partner. priority parking is making this happen, and he is making it happen with private funds. the city of san francisco has figured it out. people like bob hayden, ed, have figured out how to use other people's money to bring san francisco into the lead. these people i happy to do that. this kind of leadership makes a huge difference. i especially want to thank mastercard. mastercard has s

wet here across interstate 80 corridor and from san francisco to sacramento. roads slick at times. temperatures not so bad. low to mid 50s from the north bay right on down to sunnyvale. 56 in san jose. 50 in livermore. not frigid like we had earlier at this week -- this time of the hour. so tonight, mainly 40s here. a few scattered showers. we'll see that trend of scatters showers in the forecast for saturday for everyone at this point. however, we are going to key in and hone in on sunday. that's when the stronger storm system looks to arrive with rainfall accumulations and also some windy conditions at times. this is still that pesky area of frontal cooling, that arrived here on monday throughout the west coast. it's still trying to push here to the south. so that's lingering and bringing us the showers right now. and this is the area of low pressure. we're watching out here. that's going to continue to move to the south. and then eventually off here towards the east, impacting us was ahead into sunday with rainfall back in the mix. as for saturday, not so bad. it's the better of
