the east side of the sacramento valley over towards rocklin and granite bay. in those areas, they're going eastern sacramento, they're going to see temperatures in the low 100. and the potential for an actual heat advisory has been issued. so in that side of the valley, really hot, the other side will be hot to the west side, but just not as hot. we're kind of right on the edge of the heat advisory. so tomorrow's temperatures look a lot like today's. we've got a lot of fog, but it's shallow. see, we're looking down on it. so it's not going to get up over the east bay hills. it's not going to get into the delta. and so we're going to see a day tomorrow just like we had today. but a couple of degrees warmer and perhaps some more humidity. you'll see that coming up. these are the current temperatures, 93 up in fairfield, two degrees warmer than yesterday. livermore, four degrees warmer. you see some of that. so tropical moisture coming in. that's wrapping around, coming back at us. unusual direction not for this time of year but for weather. typically it comes fr

a sacramento woman is facing charges after being accused of walking around naked on the bay bridge and firing a gun sequoyah. duncan cell pled not guilty in court to all charges, including shooting at a vehicle and making criminal threats. duncan cell allegedly had been driving recklessly on eastbound. i-80 before she got out of her car naked and started firing shots into the air at passing vehicles as well. the incident happened last tuesday during rush hour caused a traffic nightmare for commuters. there. the court has set no bail and she is currently in custody if convicted of all charges. she does face more than 22 years in prison. she is expected to be in court again next friday. we're going take a quick break here. coming up, cancer patients at uc davis take part in a clinical trial. >> testing anticancer drug, promising results coming up next. plus, scientists are concerned about fish in the bay as a harmful algae bloom that continues to spread. but first, alameda county has updated its side show ordinance regarding jail time for spectators. a live report coming up. >> in the ea

these schools such as brightwell college, were located in cities including sacramento, fresno and san diego. bonta is trying is joining attorneys general from other states seeking to end the loans and refunds for the money already paid out. an oakland elementary school has reopened this morning with increased police presence. here's how things looked this morning after a bomb threat at chabot elementary in the rockridge district forced the evacuation of students, teachers and staff . yesterday. right around this time, investigators say that a threatening email was sent to the school after information on a play date for children and families of color at chabot elementary was posted in an online forum. there's now an investigation involving both oakland police and federal agents. but i will say that the email had some racial undertones in it, and we are currently investigating that right now. we have asked the fbi and they're going to come in and assist us with this investigation. the school's principal and a school employee received bomb threats just before classes started yesterday mo

as we get into friday, look at the low clouds that are blossoming into the central part of the sacramento valley. that is the biggest sign that things will cool down. on friday , inland it was in the mid-to-upper 90s. the good news is by friday we are only in the 80s in the east bay, so there is cooler weather on the way. you can see that by concord tomorrow. and look at all the numbers tumble on friday. this is all causing allergens to pile up, especially the grass and these pods that are at medium level. if you notice yourself especially sniffly, now you know why. look at the layer of clouds against the golden gate bridge with the south tower just barely popping out there. so it is going to be cool along the coast. low temperatures tonight are in the low to mid 60s . high temperatures torr are in the mid-80s, so a little bit cooler there, little bit cooler in the east bay. instead of upper 90s, low to mid 90s and that is a step in the right direction. a lot of sunshine mixed with high clouds in the north bay but still plenty warm. ukiah, 101, santa rosa, 83. increasing clouds on friday
