lease safeway here at the fillmore district. it's been here for about 4 decades serving predominantly the african american community. and it is that community that will be hurt the most because they say a lot of them don't have cars. they don't have the means to move about san francisco and it's been historically very popular to that community here. but it cannot go on any longer. according to safeway, they say they tried and tried. they even hired security guards. they have cameras. they've tried to cut down on theft but ultimately theft. and this location, they say proved too much for them to continue moving forward. as far as the employees reyna, the employees have been transferred to the other 15 locations that safely has within san francisco. they can work there now if people in this community and it's a walking community, if they want to shop for groceries, the nearest location is about 2 miles from here. and that's market street. back to all right. that's just an incredibly unfortunate for the residents that live there. >
