i'm starting kindergarten pretty much as the helicopters were looking out of saigon. there is something about american history where we are so invested in the idea that everything that we do is good and that america is inherently good. i would say america is mostly good. they messed it up a couple of times as well. you can talk about the ideals of the country and trying to live up to them. you don't have to like, you know, brush the other stuff under the rug, i think. i love the oc, it was gritty and fascinating and cool, a lot of intriguing drama, greed and murder and lost, just violence i don't know if that answers your question or not. but thank you.
