a quick check of the snow totals around the region. 10-inches salisbury maryland, calaway maryland, you got about 6.3, montrose, 4.2, la plata two and a half. here in d.c. it was just under an inch and that's about what i had out in the gaithersburg, maryland, area but now it's all about the cold on the wind. these are the 5 o'clock wind gusts. it's gusting to 40 miles an hour at dulles, 38 miles an hour in d.c. 35 quantico and annapolis. that is so uncomfortable and guess what? it peaked out even higher than that earlier today. we had gusts to 55 miles an hour as you see here. calvert cliffs, that was a bowie recording a gust of 56 down there just off annapolis. so, now the wind is combining with the very cold temperatures and i'll show you temperatures in a moment to bring us this. this is the next advisory you need to be aware of it kicks in at 10 o'clock tonight and it will continue until noon on friday. it will likely be extended its a wind chill advisory because overnight it's going to feel like 5 degrees to 10 degrees below zero and in the mountains where you see that purple, tha
