i'm sam brock alongside rob mayeda. rob they say in these kind of conditions, marathon conditions you want brisk but not cold temperatures. what are runners looking at. >> temperatures this morning mild. seeing a few showers at times around the peninsula. you don't have to worry about heat. in san jose mostly cloudy skies and had some light showers passing by. up to the north in hayward, you're seeing that from the south and what's left in san jose a few sprinkles around campbell and saratoga. those line of showers weakening as they cross the coastline but producing lightning around the monterey peninsula. this moisture will continue across the bay area. a mostly cloudy start. chance of seeing some showers and then i think as we get towards the afternoon we should see most of the moisture move on with clearing. today's highs cooler than yesterday with the cloud cover. we'll 150e8s to 90s in the valleys and another chance of more moisture coming in with showers coming in to kick off the work week. >>> thank you very much
