sam brock is pouring through the report and joins us in san francisco with the breaking news coverage. sam? >> reporter: good evening. pg&e said that it met very high state standards but what this series of cal fire reports basically signifies is that the agency thinks, no, you didn't. cal fire looked at a series of 12 fires overall and found that in eight of the 12 cases or two-thirds of the instances, they believe pg&e is partly to blame at least for the fires. now the possible violations you are mentioning do vary in the atlas fire for example, a tree limb that fell on a power line and that could be due to a lack of maintenance or not properly clearing the trees but unrelated but cal fire found another fire was by a reen earthing a nower line and a conductor fell to the ground and started the fire. these are the eight fires referred to the appropriate d.a. for investigation. the atlas fire, the adobe, pocket and pie then
