elias: meteorologist sam schrier joins us again with a look at your forecast. sam we have been punished the last few days with nothing but bitter cold temps and winds that made everything feel even worse. luckily today and tomorrow we turn things completely around and crank those temps up! the sky will start cloudy today but we will have sunshine by the end of the afternoon with a should remain fairly breezy but mild with the overnight low falling into the upper 20s and a breezy southwest wind. thursday will be not only the warmest day of the week, but the warmest day of 2016 so far! highs are expected to climb to around 45 degrees with a breezy southwest wind helping to push us there. unfortunately all this warm air will be short lived because starting friday cold air will be pushing back through the state with deep cold expected to settle in especially going into sunday and monday. highs will lower into the single digits, and overnight lows will likely be well below zero. things do look warmer in the middle of next week, so just hunker down through the weekend
