communications adviser, political editor and white house correspondent at "the huffington post" sam stein, and former senior adviser to president obama and director at the university of chicago institute of politics david axelrod. karen, how much time is the clinton team spending working on rebuttals to the rumors the questions, the scandals around donors? >> having been through this routine before with the attacks, the right wing attacks, not that much. i mean, look the reality is we have an operation that is designed to kind of do exactly what hillary was just talking about. let her focus on what she's trying to focus on and that is having a conversation with americans. we are absolutely prepared for these attacks. personally, having known her for more than 25 years, i certainly expected this would come. a little later than i expected. we got a whole week before this came out. but no we are prepared. and part of what you saw there and part of the reason that hillary spoke to it is we're not afraid of them. we will take on those attacks as we need to. but that is not -- we're not going t
