sam stovall, s&p. larry shover of sfg. to sam stovall, looking at sectors you see props what mohammed el-erian told us, we're oversold, what are you look as you check computer screens with eight minutes to go before the closing bell rings? >> we're looking at those areas, traditionally you find staples, utilities, telecom, they tend to hold up well during these kind of environment but i think you have to look at even an area like financials in terms of the money center banks. like jpmorgan chase. like wells fargo et cetera. the companies are asset neutral than asset sensitive. so as a result, they will less likely to be bounced around if they do see shrinkage in net interest income. liz: can i get to maury? maury, you are the economist in all of. i grabbed headline. terrible number for purchasing managers index. when you talk about big industry and going, pretty much at multiyear low right now. so is it just best to stay away from the region? what looks better now? >> what works better now to have your money in the u.s. fo

let me go to sam stovall.ne of the themes on the show is the retail ice age we talk about, some of the big names of bricks and mortar retailing have taken it on the chin recently. i think it's because people are migrating to on-line shopping. what say you about the retail sector? >> oh, i agree with you wholeheartedly, stuart. that it's so much easier just to browse on-line, let your fingers do the walking, if you will, and then you find something you like. you can check prices instantly and then make a decision to purchase and it's going to be delivered to your doorstep. so, you know, there's a lot more effort to actually go to a physical store to fight for parking, hoping not to get into an accident in the meantime. so, yeah, we are seeing okay retail sales, but it comes more from the on-line shopping than from the brick and mortar. stuart: john layfield, may i ask you sort of a technical question. you live in bermuda, can you do on-line shopping and get deliveries from palm son, stuff like that, can you? >>
