sam sweeney was at union station has the service was restored this morning. sam: good afternoon. the first of hundreds to arrive on the train from penn station to washington union station. amtrak works around the clock to get the northeast corridor service back online earlier than anticipated. also this afternoon, amtrak says it installed speed son sors where train 188 derailed. they will slow the engines down if it's not automatically done by the train's engineers. this morning as the trains return to service the f.b.i. is joining the ntsb in the investigation. it remains unclear why train 188 reached speeds of 106 miles per hour in a 50-mile-per-hour zone. the f.b.i. now must determine whether the train was hit by a projectile or even a bullet. the two other trains reported being hit by projectiles, minutes before 188 crashed tuesday night. passengers on this morning's train say the service was slower than normal. >> it was a bit slower. before that i drove. >> the train's arrived a half hour late but there were no real problems on board and things are getting back to normal. t
