since i saw senator carden, i visited with samantha power at the national security staff who has done a terrific job in streamlining the processing of these cases and making sure that we have the personnel and the right resources directed to process them effectively and efficiently. the embassy plays a key role in that. and we have increased our staff there to make sure these cases can be processed from the initial point of entry at the embassy. and if i'm confirmed, i pledge to you i will do everything i possibly can to make sure that these cases are processed efficiently with reasonable security checks
