students walked out of samuel fels high school after police spent several hours searching every nook and cranny of the large building. hours after learning that there was a gun inside of the school, police found a silver revolver in the trash cannot school's weight room. >> there is metal detectors, there is video surveillance of the entrance, so right new we are reviewing northeast detectives is doing an investigation and they are reviewing the video of each entrance and exit. >> reporter: student snapped a cell phone picture of the gun and showed it to administrators but police say students were in the cooperating, forcing detectives to do their own search. students waited and they were told to be still. >> you just start seeing policeman, come by, swat. >> they said that the school is on lock down because we found a gun in here but school is on lock down monday too. >> reporter: coleman says she was not worried about the gun but outside the school her mother was and what he relieved in shots were fired. now she's demanding answer about metal detectors. >> how does a gun get inside
