san jose about 82, 70 in san francisco and 76 degrees in oakland. so here's what we're watching closely, the north winds pick up, watch how the humidity numbers especially around napa and concord begin to drop off. now, at times yesterday, those numbers dropped to single digits, i don't think it was a coincidence that we saw the grass fires and other fires popping up inland around the times we saw the humidity levels drop off. today as you see there, dropping off into the teens and maybe the single digits on top of the hilltops around napa county and contra costa county. so we're having another push of these north winds today, but back off a little bit towards the afternoon but notice by 11:00 tonight you see the time stamp there upper right, we're going to see one more burst of the north winds at least into early monday and you can see it will be the north bay hills and the diablo range that likely sees about the most of the wind speeds. so this particular red flag warn something going to follow us into monday morning through 6:00 inland mountain r

the san francisco metro. san francisco shoreline. peninsula.ast bay hills and for the santa cruz mountains under that wind advisory. we are talking about that on shore flow. northwesterly winds gusting up to 40 to 450 miles an hour. already looking at 21-mile an hour winds out of the west. oakland 21, 21 in the tri valley and 24 for fairfield. a cooler day today. still looking at that sunshine. mid50's along the coast. upper 50's to low to mid-60s's and upper 6o's to low to mid-70s. there's a traffic alert in the south bay. >> there is. in san jose and i just got the update from chp. it's northbound 101 just as you approach 880. the two right lanes shut down as well as the connector road getting onto 880. this is due to fooding in the roadway. there's a crash reported in that same area. likely caused by that standing water there in the roadway. they are saying the least another 30 minutes to get everything cleaned up. expect delays northbound 101 others you work through san jose. we will keep a close eye on that. some good news on that earlier

when i moved to san francisco in 1990, some things opened up. women doing things they hadn't been doing when i was growing up. one thing was firefighting. a woman recruited me at the gay-pride parade in 1991. it was a perfect fit. i liked using my brain, body, working as a team, figuring things out, troubleshooting and coming up with different ways to solve a problem. in terms of coming in after another female chief, i don't think anybody says that about men. you are coming in after another man, chief, what is that like. i understand why it is asked. it is unusual to have a woman in this position. i think san francisco is a trailblazer in that way in terms of showing the world what can happen and what other people who may not look like what you think the fire chief should look like how they can be successful. be asked me about being the first lbgq i have an understands because there are little queer kids that see me. i worked my way up. i came in january of 1994. i built relationships over the years, and i spent 24 years in the field, as we call

you see 80 in san mateo, but just 69 in san francisco 65 out of the coast, so we're relatively clear tonight. out there that little blip on the radar. you see, it's just a little burger. just little noise. it's not actually rain. that would be nice, but no such luck. current temperatures right now you can see where we're hanging on to that heat brentwood right now. still it's 70 degrees at this hour certainly were much cooler out of half moon bay where it's 50 degrees, so. kind of fifties around the bay and then a little bit warmer as you head inland wind is relatively calm right now. this is some good news. we've seen some decent recovery as we're getting into the later evening hours, and that goes for a relative humidity levels as well. take a look at this. we were talking, you know 20% 18% and now a 47% conquered. that's pretty good. so unfortunately, that does not last as we get into tomorrow, so we didn't have that red flag warning that goes as i mentioned until tuesday at six pm because we do have of offshore winds, low humidity and inland heat. and unfortunately, as we kick in

we're following developing news in san jose. we're police are at the scene tonight of a double shooting that left at least one person dead. it happened just after eight o'clock on east santa clara street near south 19th street. police say the two men were found with gunshot wounds. one of the victims died. we don't know yet what led up to the shooting, but video from the scene shows at least one vehicle with gunshot holes through its windshield. so far, police have not announced any arrests. a bar owner in sama. king county is under arrest tonight, accused of selling fake covid-19 vaccination cards. the california department of alcoholic beverage control says todd andersen was selling the cards for $20 each of the old corner saloon in clement's. the abc was first tipped off by the sam a king county sheriff's department. then they sent undercover agents to the bar to buy the fake laminated cards. and then yesterday they arrested anderson during a raid that we know of. this is the only. case that's ever been done even nationwide.
