i have every confidence there's going to be a headline down the road that san francisco is back. and the question is how do we get san francisco to that point quicker? and i think a lot of that involves, you know, how do we deal with these vacant buildings? how do we deal with the problem of homelessness and housing? unaffordability, i think one of the things the federal government can do that's most cost effective is dramatically increase the low income housing tax credit to incentivize the creation of new housing, or to convert housing to residential, to make it possible to help people off the street and, frankly, make housing affordable for a lot of people who are very gainfully employed but can't afford to live in san francisco or other high cost cities, we're also going to have to do what we can to attract people to come back to the city. since people can commute, you know, can can commute virtually and don't need to physically be there. so these are going to have to do more to attract people to come back. i'm looking forward to working closely with san francisco, elected off

san jose on higuera road. it prompted a second alarm response. suddenly i saw in the back of my, you know, property and it was black smoke all over there and i immediately quit that my property and went down. san jose fire says the blaze burned a garage housing a number of cars. one person had to be taken to the hospital within a few hours, the fire was under control. with the increase in temperatures, training and collaboration between agencies is proving to be pivotal. making sure that our firefighters are training and they're acclimated to the weather is super. it's very key. cal fire santa clara covers five bay area regions, including the south bay, alameda and contra costa counties. the last couple of weeks have been busy for crews, including tackling the 14,000 acre corral fire and the fire in pittsburg on sunday. this week, cal fire increasing its staffing based on whatever incidents that we're having, we've seen quite an increase in fire activity recently, but it's also based on weather forecast and what what we're looking at going forward. one fire agency today co
