it's nearly a year after the deadly gas explosion in san bruno. amy hollyfield is live in belmont with more on this disturbing story. >>> the crews uncovered quite a surprise here on sixth avenue. this gas line was not where it was supposed to be. they have covered it up with a piece of wood. they said it was exposed for about a month. they were worried that a car might drive over it. city officials say according to the pg&e map they thought the line would be about 3 feet underground but instead they found it 12 inches down. the city of belmont and contractors were relying on the maps from pg&e. residents say after a condominium caught fire in cupertino because of a plastic gas line rupture and, of course, what happened in san bruno, it all makes them very nervous that the city engineer says maps are sometimes wrong. >>> it's not an uncommon thing for us to have inaccurate information. these pipes were put in years ago and sometimes they weren't recorded correctly. >> very big concern. we don't want another big problem. >> reporter: pg&e spokesper
