we continue to follow developing news in san bruno, investigating a deadly hit-and- run crash at thee with an update on when the road could reopen. >> reporter: the skyline boulevard between sneath and over to college and burke shire -- burke shire is shut down the traffic, and the northbound lane on the right-hand side of the road you're looking at, those could reopen in the next 15 to 30 minutes. the southbound lanes on the other side will remain closed for up to another four hours. somewhere in the midway point between the two intersection shut down is where the vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian about 1:40 am. this -- and they are not sure whether this was one vehicle or multiple vehicles that may have run over the pedestrian. they do not know if the drivers even are aware that they struck someone because of the 40 let roadway. but some people did see what happened. -- poorly lit roadway, but some people did see what happened. >> there were some people that saw the collision and we are working with them right now.>> reporter: we know the victim is a male, but we do not know h
