we begin tonight with developing news in san bruno. and that is where a man was shot while driving. the shooting was first reported around 05:40am, tonight near the crystal springs off-ramp. off interstate 2.80. this is the scene there earlier tonight when the chp temporarily shut down all lanes of 2.80, to try to gather evidence the freeway has since reopened. investigators have only described the driver shot as a man in his 50's. they say the driver pulled over along southbound to 80 near the trials del off-ramp. after realizing he had been shot twice. the driver was conscious and able to call 9-1-1. he's being treated now at stanford hospital. investigators have not released any information about the suspected shooter at this time. it is not clear if the driver was trying to get away from the suspect. we'll keep you posted there. dreamforce starts a week from today in san francisco. setting up is in full swing already and it's going center. it's really vital for this three-day conference to go off without a hitch. after the sales for ceo threatened to pull the conference from san
