well, you're about to see cars driving along 101 in san carlos. some ponding on the roads today so do be careful out there. there are the cars. meteorologist rob mayeda is here. you've been doing some research. what are you finding? >> we were just talking about this. it's like we've been living in seattle the last couple months. there is some benefit to this gloomy weather. we've improved by two drought categories. going from street to severe to in some cases, abnormally dry. where we're seeing the biggest changes are the bay area reservoirs. lake sonoma, 63% of capacity. it is now up to slightly above 100% capacity. south bay is looking pretty good, too. this trend continues across the state's largest reservoirs. one year ago, the largest were at 60.7%. now fast forward today and there is a lot more green on the map. you can see shasta, oroville, the big four, as we like to say, about 81%. overall, little by little, it continues to add up. december, january, the big stworms the ongoing rain. and now february into march. >> it is really promising
