no surprise, california cities make up seven of the top ten sitting at the top stop san diego. no bay area cities show up until san francisco with the number six spot. salinas is number seven. santa rosa is number eight. and vallejo, fairfield at number ten. san francisco will soon launch a guaranteed income program for former foster youth. it's part of the california guaranteed income pilot program. governor newsom's office today announced san francisco will receive $3.4 million in funding for the program. it will provide 150 former foster youth in the city with a stipend of $1,200 per month for their first 18 months out of foster care. ventura county has been granted $1.5 million to pilot a similar program in southern california. as we move closer to winter and our rainy season, there is good news when it comes to california and water. our state is drought free for the first time in three and a half years. the latest us drought monitor map shows the golden state completely out of drought stages for the first time since march 2020. roughly 6% of california remains abnormally dry and

attention to the issue of homeless youth by walking, biking and taking public transit from san diego through the baye way to sacramento. both are affiliated with the ymca of san diego, and during a stop in san jose say it is a problem that is often under acknowledged. and the whole issue behind the solidarity journey is to uplift and bring attention and resources to the fact that throughout our state, every night, young people are on the streets experiencing homelessness, trying to survive. the bill wilson center here in downtown san jose provides transitional housing for homeless youth, but it also is an entry point for information and resources such as housing and food assistance. and here in san jose, we have the highest per capita youth homelessness in the country. i mean, these are terrible things to be known for. so clearly, it is a crisis that our young people are facing. and these are folks we want to prevent from falling into chronic homelessness, which is much more expensive and much more difficult physically, mentally, emotionally. the bill wilson center is also helping with two programs

the temperatures from the lower 50s from salt lake, tahoe to 80 degrees in san diego, if you are staying around in the bay area the temperatures look just fine. take a look at inland parts of the bay area, the temperatures will peak on thanksgiving. reaching up to the lower 70s. the warmer spots, middle 70s. a mix of upper 60s and 70s. the cool down, the coolest days in the forecast, still a couple degrees above average. we will keep it around as long as we can. nice to see another wave of rain heading our way. not happening in the near term, though. we are talking about dry weather, passing clouds, then again, the clouds will be high up in the atmosphere and not substantial enough to block the sunshine. really, filtering it out wednesday. after a partly cloudy start on wednesday, breaking through for plenty of sunshine for thanksgiving afternoon. then, the full sunshine sticking around friday, saturday, sunday and monday. along the coast, not seeing a lot of fog for the next several days, it is nice when you get good weather in time for a four day week end >> thank you very much, paul. >>> coming up, why

bay area. i was born in san diego and adopted out to san francisco when i was about 17 years old. i bounced around a little bit here in high school, but i've always been here in the bay. we are an inclusive preschool, which means that we cater to emp. we don't turn anyone away. we take every child regardless of race, creed, religious or ability. the most common thing i hear in my adult life is oh, you don't seem like you have autism. you seem so normal. yeah. that's 26 years of really, really, really hard work and i think thises that i still do. i was one of the first open adoptions for an lgbt couple. they split up when i was about four. one of them is partnered, and one of them is not, and then my biological mother, who is also a lesbian. very queer family. growing up in the 90's with a queer family was odd, i had the bubble to protect me, and here, i felt safe. i was bullied relatively infrequently. but i never really felt isolated or alone. i have known for virtually my entire life i was not suspended, but kindly asked to not ever bring it up again in first grade, my desire to
